2007| Printemps Francais is back|

Dear All,

Get UP, budding, reflection of nature characterize the season of spring after the winter period. To celebrate this event, France gives appointment each year with Asia. Under the label “French Spring in Asia”, many cultural and artistic events are organized in this zone between June and April, such as “French May” of Hong-Kong, the “Festival Hooted” in Vietnam, the “Spring French” of Manila, “French Art Festival” of Kuala Lumpur, “Go” of Seoul, the “Spring French” of Jakarta, “the Festival” in Bangkok and the “Festival of Arts” of Singapore….

French Spring in Asia is here:

– to increase the co-operation between the various “French festivals” or those in which France holds a place of honor,

– to develop a collaboration beetween the French artists and those of the area,

– to give a strong and contemporary image of France in Asia.

For the third consecutive year, LIP of Yogyakarta will also take part in this cultural and artistic explosion through a program of cultural events:

– photographs of mode of Wilffrid Rouff

– the puppets of It koi this cirk?

– trajectories with the vertical of company 9.81 (cirque/danse)

– exposition and discussions on Water, the gold of the 21st century (environment)

– Live DJ music of DJ Missill

This coloured panel will be enriched by other events coming to celebrate the French culture with Yogyakarta: the festival of film French in April 2007, one week of French food, the festival of the music in June 2007 and of others surprised well to offer to the public of Yogyakarta an explosive panorama and various of the French culture!
